Best Tricks for Word in Office 365
What does one do when Microsoft invites you to return to its film studios to participate in “a challenge?” For my twin brother, Sean, and me, it had been a simple decision—we went!
The challenge clothed to be a showdown between Word for Office 2019 and Word for Office 365. Neither folks knew there was a difference between these two applications, but once we got a couple of tasks and asked to finish them—the differences became very clear. Using Resume Assistant in Word for Office 365, i used to be ready to edit a resume, add relevant skills, and send to recruiters via LinkedIn, beat a fraction of the time it took my brother. And yeah, I talked a touch smack while i used to be at it. That’s what we do.
Since that showdown, I’ve learned tons of cool and time-saving things from Microsoft that Word for Office 365 can do, and I’d wish to share a number of them with you now.
Transform to Web Page—What! Word can make web pages? Yes, yes it can. All you've got to try to to is use the Transform to website feature. It’s as simple as designing your document how you would like it to seem , then on the File tab, getting to Transform > Transform to website . you'll select from a bunch of designs then easily publish an internet page that you simply can share with friends, family, or coworkers—and it's great on any device. Forget stumbling with coding and hosting and every one that jazz. you'll have an internet page during a matter of minutes.
Ink Editor—This may be a modern combat a standard task: editing documents.

Researcher—One of the more tedious aspects of writing research papers—whether it's in class , for work, or even because you only wish to research things—is finding credible sources then properly citing them. Word has your back on this one. Researcher uses Bing to tug in appropriate content from the online and supply structured, safe, and credible information—all with accurate citations—in only one click.

Editor Overview pane—This one may be a mouthful, but it’s something you’ll wonder how you lived without. Being an excellent writer just got an entire lot easier. (For what it’s worth, I used it to see this text and located three suggestions that I took…but you’ll never know what they were!
@mentions—You’re wont to using the @ sign and someone’s name or handle to deal with them in social media apps, and you'll do an equivalent thing in Word for Office 365. Now, when I’m collaborating on a document, it’s easy to draw a coworker’s attention to a neighborhood where i want their input. I simply use the @ sign and their name, followed by the message, and that they receive an email saying they’ve been mentioned.
